Hello!
I'm the Italian drummer Gennaro Barba, music is special because it gives
each person happiness (even if some people don't realize that)!
While I'm playing I feel my soul flying and hope to communicate the same
feelings to you.
My favourite drum kit is shown in these photos. I currently use two
Hi-Hats, prefer UFIP cymbals and use IDEAS FOR DRUMMERS Gennaro Barba
signature sticks.
These kind of sticks are very good for drummers because when your hands
are sweating they don't slip away. I strongly recommend them!!!

Each of these words is part of his great personality that influence
anyone who gets to meet him! What is more, he is a very helpful and
reliable person, like few people among the artists.
Gennaro could be defined as a man with a big personality that loves
searching and experimenting new sounds. For his versatility and ability

also a deep wish to go beyond the limits of conventional formulas and
tradictional languages.

Note from the Mad Soundman:
In the passing of emails back and forth between Genaro and myself, he
wrote something I simply just have to share...
"Do you know that when I'm on the point of
buying a piece of drums or percussions I smell it!"
Those who love the instruments they play can understand the sheer sense
of excitement, the thrill of finding just the right addition to their
arsenal of percussion tools, holding it in your hands, and that first
magical moment you strike the thing and hear exactly the tone you've
been looking for and which has been locked inside your head for days.
