I woke up one morning and thought "wouldn't it be great to have a gallery of monstrous drums on this webpage?" And so i was that a concept was born. Here's the deal, send me pictures of your drums and some descriptions of what it is, where it was and in the case of photos with people in them- who's playing. I'll also need to know who took the photographs, so I can properly credit the photographer as well as the drumset owner.
This is very important! Pictures that are not sent with this information WILL NOT BE POSTED!I will withold any information you specifically request me to, but I will require it in order to post the pictures. multiple photos are welcome, as you will be essentially getting a "display space" of between four to seven photos in which folks will be able to see your instruments and read about them and you. Finally, I will need you to email me back a completed release form allowing me to post the pictures on this site. These forms will be sent out to everyone who sends me photos, and basically it states that ownership of the photos remains unchanged, they are yours and at any moment you wish me to take specific ones or all of them down a single email will do the trick. Please give me between one to three days to respond however, as sometimes it gets quite busy out here! The release form also states that I will not repost these photos on any other site, nor shall I sell, charge, nor make any attempt to profit from them beyond the actual inclusion in the gallery itself as a means of attracting traffic to the website. Traffic is not a bad thing, since they will be seeing you as well as me. Finally it states that no photo shall be posted without proper credits. From a commercial perspective, the release form allows me to use the Gallery itself as a means of attracting traffic to my site and nothing more. there are a few other details that are in there and which you shall see are just as much for your protection as mine.
OK, So that's that. Let's get the ball rolling, shall we? Email me at least four good, well lit pictures of your set. Maximum resolution shall be 1024 X 768 at 600DPI and minimum no less than 640 X 480 at 72DPI. You can either message me at MySpace or email the photos as an attachment to:
Well? what are you waiting for? If you think you've got what it takes then get out your cameras, tripods, and start taking awesome pictures, when your done, you may end up with the bragging rights to the "baddest drum set on the planet!"
Best Wishes,...
